CARLA FOX PHOTOGRAPHY

I was born and raised in what used to be called the bread basket of Africa. Zimbabwe, a teapot shaped dot on the globe that will forever retain its majestic beauty despite all the turmoil it has experienced. It is the place I will always call home.  I  am lucky enough to have found and settled in another teeny spot of paradise, Wasaga Beach, Ontario. 

 

I have always loved photography. I specifically thrive on capturing the endless emotions and interactions between people (most of which occur when no-one else is watching). My style is aimed towards a more relaxed, unguarded and natural setting.  Candid photos are my personal favourite along with nature as the backdrop and natural light however, I encourage the must-have traditional shots simply to help ensure that your event collection is complete with no-one or no-thing missed.

 

For me, photography is a form of art and as the amazing Thomas Arvid quotes, “Life without art is like dinner without wine. Why bother?”

 

Photographing the incredible landscapes that surround us and the love, laughter and life between people moves me.
